The Tax Department has extended the deadline for electronically submitting personal income tax returns and settling related tax liabilities for the 2023 tax year. Announced on October 30, 2024, the new deadline for filing Form T.D.1 (for employees and pensioners with annual incomes above €19,500) is moved from October 31 to November 30, 2024. This extension also covers any tax due, payable through self-assessment.
Additionally, the filing deadline for self-employed individuals (with turnover under €70,000 and no audit requirement) using Form T.D.1 self-employed is also extended to November 30, 2024, along with the deadline for paying any tax owed by self-assessment.
