The Ministry of Finance has announced an extension of the tax return submission deadline for the year 2022 until October 31, 2023. This extension comes after a proposal presented to the Council of Ministers.
Initially set date was for October 2, 2023. This deadline applies to both individuals required to file a 2022 Personal Income Tax Return and those obligated to make self-assessment tax payments. The extension offers relief to employees, pensioners, and self-employed individuals whose total gross income for 2022 exceeded 19,500 euros.
This move provides taxpayers with additional time to fulfil their financial obligations and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
